Holistic Recharge — Burnout Recovery Training for Psychologists | 25 APS CPD Hours
This week-long professional trainingprovides a clinical examination of the neurobiological drivers of burnout through the COR and JDR models. Participants will master evidence-based, holistic management strategies while simultaneously engaging in restorative wellness experiences at the Princesa Garden Island Resort. The program facilitates the creation of a structured, individualized burnout recovery plan within a professional, restorative island environment.
A Second Layer of Restoration
Following the success of our Bali program, we invite you to the Second Layer of your professional journey. Set against the limestone cliffs and turquoise waters of Palawan — voted multiple times as the "Best Island in the World" — this immersive training is designed for the psychologist who recognises that their most valuable clinical tool is a regulated, nourished self.
While the world knows Palawan for its beauty, we have chosen Princesa Garden Island Resort & Spa for its soul. This is not just a seminar; it is an immersion into Filipino-Asian architecture, chlorine-free luxury, and the healing rhythm of the islands.
REGISTRATION & HIGHLIGHTS
We believe professional development should be a shared joy. You are welcome to bring your partner, kids, or family to share in the Palawan experience while you engage in the sessions (meals and incidentals for guests are separate).

Comprehensive Burnout Management
Explore burnout's complexity, identify signs early, and learn restorative practices.
Burnout in our profession is real and often invisible until it becomes overwhelming. This training program begins by helping you understand the true nature of burnout, including its emotional, physical, and neurobiological impacts. You'll learn how to recognize early warning signs using the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), reflect on your current stress load, and gain evidence-informed strategies for reversing exhaustion. More than a theory session, this is an invitation to pause, reset, and build personalized, practical tools for restoring your energy and motivation.
Holistic Self-Care Practices
Mental, emotional, and physical well-being tools for everyday life.
Self-care is a discipline of self-awareness that sustains us through the demands of therapeutic work. During the training, you'll explore a holistic approach that encompasses your mental, emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual health. Through immersive experiences like yoga, guided meditation, and creative reflection, you'll connect to a deeper sense of vitality.
Daily Life Integration
Practical, actionable self-care strategies for a sustainable work-life balance.
Sustainable change happens in the return. This module focuses on helping you bridge the gap between the person you become while on the program and the life you return to. We'll co-create practical self-care plans, explore boundary-setting techniques, and identify key mindset shifts that support long-term wellbeing so that rest and joy become part of your everyday rhythm.
